Not Recording in the Hurricane

I had big plans for recording today, but with the wind and the rain pounding down on the roof, there's just no way.

Sorry to Beagle and Janet for prolonging your projects even longer.

Well, I guess you will have to include the rain in a song then.

Don't feel too bad, unless you are responsible for the hurricane, then feel bad.

    Don't worry, Scott.
I've got a hunch they may let it slide today.
On a somewhat bright note, I have a rare day off today. I'm home on injured reserve.
Donna is at work, and I have the house to myself for a few hours, so I am shutting off the AC, and laying down a few tracks I have been wanting to get to.
    Hang in there.

Scott, you coulda just said so if you didn't really want to play on that song.  A whole hurricane seems a little excessive, don't it?

Bob:  good for you!  I hope we get to hear some of it soon.  :)

Half my town is under water....first time it's been quiet enough to record in months.

You guys are funny. We have sunshine today. I lost my internet shortly after posting this thread and haven't got it back yet. (I'm at work right now)

We have a lot of washed out rads, missing covered bridges and flooded out communities. 8 feet of water in a nearby mobile home park with people's homes and cars underwater, kerosene tanks floating around and spilling fuel everywhere. Such a disaster!

I did manage to mix a tune I had written and recorded a couple of weeks ago, so not all was lost.
