Track Inspector Missing
I couldn't find this doing a search although I'm sure someone has seen it before. I brought a old project, (S8) into Sonar 8.5 and I noticed that the inspector was MIA for certain audio tracks. Tried reopening the project, shutting Sonar down even rebooting, no good. I solved the problem by moving the audio into a new track. Has anyone ever seen this? What was the cause? Thanks. Paul

I don't recall ever seeing one audio track showing the TI and another not showing it. You can show/hide the Track Inspector by pressing the i key but that's a global feature as far as I know. Does pressing the i key on your keyboard have any effect on the tracks missing the TI?

Hitting the "I" key just made that space appear or disappear. Very strange...

Bizarre. Does the symptom go away if you remove all the plugins from the fx bin on the affected track?

When you right click in the blank area where the TI should be, do you get a menu? Were these audio tracks recorded by you? Inserted? Routed to a soft synth?

I don't remember there being any plugs in the FX bins but I can go back to the original file and check, (that's assuming I can get it to reproduce the symptoms. I moved the non-working wavs into new tracks and went on working. Paul

The audio tracks were rendered from EZDrummer several years ago. I hadn't touched the project since then. I'll bring it up again, check all these things out and report back. Thanks guys. Paul
