VST plugin windows - can i resize them?

Ok so i tried the VCC demo. These are small strips, but the plugin window is much wider. Much empty grey room blinds my eyes. It is looking amateurish too.

Is there anything i could do to change this permanentely?

    Only by setting the resolution on your monitors lower...which can cause problems in other areas if you set it too low.
