Need to borrow a Trumpet player for a few licks (Filled thank you)

Hey guys,

    Any Trumpet players out there willing to lay down a couple riffs on my song?  I have the riffs loosely worked out but my VST Trumpets are not cutting it so a real player would be ideal.  It's pretty simple stuff and shouldnt require more than a few minutes of your time.

    I need by Thursday 9-1-2011.  In return I can offer my guitar services or other collaboration efforts.  I'm open and love to collaborate.

Im hoping I can find a Cakewalk buddy for this.  PM me here or email Mike@MichaelLizotteMusic.com

Thanks

    Mike, there was a good trumpet player here called 'clarkeo', but I haven't seen him around for a long time.

    Here's his Soundclick page;

    for a couple of riff in a tune..... do you have the riffs in a midi format?

    If so, maybe someone with one of the better brass libraries could render them for you.

    Thanks for the suggestion James, if no one volunteers I will have to stalk someone :)

    Hey Herb, I have the midi file and some decent samples (EW stuff mostly and also Garriton Big Band for pop Brass).  It's not the 'sound' per se, it's more of the feel.  I find pop Brass very difficult to mock up convincingly.  What I have does not sound horrible, it just doesnt have the life a real player would be able to put into it.  Thank you for the suggestion.  On that note,  I have heard some Chris Hein brass demo's that sounded fantastic.
