Getting way to many crashes and with X1C. Is there a crash log file created somewhere? I want to report exactly what I'm seeing but not always while I'm in the middle of trying to get work done. A crash log would help. I wanna see the bugs fixed just as much as the next person.
1.) I tried to render a 13 minute track with 1 audio track and a softsynth...no joy kept locking up. Had to uncheck fast bounce to get it to render. (it was the UVI workstation which works fine in Sonar 8.0 and X1B and )
2.) Inserted Sampletank 2.5 (DXI version) instant crash with a C++ error message.
3.) Tried to turn on the audio metronome to playback with a track so I could verify if the timing a piano was right and when I did I got audio dropouts of a different kind where it was like the metronome was muting the part of the audio signal. Had to shut down X1 and reopen it to get rid of the problem. Turning off the metronome didn't help.
There have been others issues but I can't recall what they were. Like I said in the middle of trying to get work done is not when I want to report bugs. Guess I should have held off on install X1C.
Edit..
Something I just thought of is I'm using Slate Digital VCC 1.35 and it is stable but I'm curious if anyone is having issue with it in X1C. I'm not getting any errors loading, using or unloading any instances of this plugin. Anyone else?
1) Open the Run Command by holding down the "windows" key on your keyboard and pressing "r"
2) Type in the following: %appdata%\Cakewalk
3) Click [OK]
4) Navigate to your SONAR folder
5) Navigate to the Minidumps folder
6) Locate the .dmp files within. These are your Minidump crash files that SONAR writes when it experiences a crash.
This is word for word from Cakewalk support when I was submitting an issue a while back.
I hope you get things running smoothly again.
