Drawing free hand controller data in PRV

Using control+shift with the draw tool only allows me to draw straight line controller data (CC01) in Sonar 8.5...

I can't find the modifier keys combination to draw free hand curves with the draw tool....

Hope someone can help......

    Go to Options>PRV Tool Configuration. Select PRV Tool 2 (Draw). Click the Tool Action box to select the action you want. In the image below I outlined the two Paint Controllers Free options. I saved a preset with Paint Velocities/Controllers Free selected.

    I can paint controllers free in the default setting by holding down the Ctrl key while clicking and dragging the mouse but I can't remember if that's the default setting or if I modified it.

    If you make any changes to the PRV Tools always go back to the default settings when done unless you want those changes to stick.
