Hmmm... dunno. Can't replicate the problem. Simple Instrument track created from scratch, or did you insert it from a template or something?

This is unrelated to your issue, but I noticed that it has an extremely low dynamic range over most of the velocity range - about 6dB from Vel 6 to Vel 127. But then below Vel 6, it drops off another 12dB to Vel 0.

If you notice that it seems a little unresponsive to your playing, that's why. Also, like a lot of SI instruments, it doesn't have velocity-switched sample layers. Given that, you might want to consider solving the problem by just using something else.

I have that problem sometimes. I go into the event list and delete the nrpns and the other one like it. It seems to work for me afterward.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

Good call. I always forget people might be working with MIDI clips they didn't record/program themselves.

To the OP: MIDI volume is Controller 7. You can see/edit controllers in either the PRV or Event List.

Select the clip and Alt+3 for PRV or Alt+8 for Event List. Or go to Views in the main menu.
