O/T Apologies to my Songs Forum friends

Hi Folks- Following the hurricane I have been without power at home since Sunday.  For whatever reason (probably the work IT Gestapo) it is very difficult to access any of the forums here at work.  Hit and miss... mostly the later.  I got on briefly yesterday and then got bounced out (definitely not the forum software for once).

I'm just glad I was able to get on today to let folks know that if I'm not listening or commenting on their songs, it's due to very spotty access and an absolutely unending list of things that have to get done as a result of the storm and power loss.  Oh, and on top of everything, our house is sold and due to close in a few weeks, so we've been packing and so on.

It's not that Long Island got hit all that hard so much as our infrastructure here is THAT bad (yes, even worse than the forum software )

I hope to be listening to y'all again soon.

    Stay safe.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

    I will second Phil's comments.

My in-laws have been without power since Sunday AM. My mother in law has MS and is in a wheelchair. It is beyond unbearable for them.
The odd thing is that I live at the beach and we evacuated as recommended. When I returned Sunday afternoon, not only was there no water damage, but I never lost power!

Take all the time you need Phil. This one didn't really hit me, but I've been through them before when I lived on the coast. Take care.

Finally after 5 days the power came back on Friday night.  So, it's gonna' take a while for me to catch up (here and elsewhere), but it's good to be back.

James- I hope your in-laws caught a break.  This was a real mess.
