Beautiful (take two)
Ok, I've done a lot of work on this piece of music: simplifying several tracks, removing others, refining the FX Bins and more. It is still pre-vocal, but I'm hoping if somebody here likes the piece, they might be willing to lay down the vocal tracks. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11010106 Beautiful (You Are So)

Very cool, Drew. I dig it. Great job on what you've done so far. Would love to hear this with vox. I can't sing or I'd offer.

Thanks! I am going to try to lay down my own vocals tomorrow. If it turns out ok, I might post it.

It sounds fine to me. Just need to hear the vocals a little better.

the vocals need to come up in the mix, they're hard to hear, you've processed them so much and then left them too low in themix. otherwise, pretty cool, love the countermelodies.

I agree. My kids just listened to it and they got up and left because they couldn't understand what I was saying. =/

I like it, but I would like it a lot more if I could hear the vocals. Very upbeat though.

Ok guys, I can't get the levels right. Would somebody take the bundle below, mix it, and send it back? Feel free to adjust levels on non-vocal tracks as well, if it helps. http://www.ragingpenguin.com/music/beautiful.zip right click, save as, rename to beautiful.cwb

It is clearer (is that a word, lol). The vocals could still come out more though.

The vox should come up a tad, but otherwise this is really good!
