Of course I am going to start with:

and

Gladly the Cross eyed Bear

and just for fun... "which one's Pink"?

Does anyone know the lyrics to "Louie Louie" I can catch the words three nights and girl   and of course Louie Louie?

Remember "Michael rowed the boat ashore"? Until I was like 12, I always thought it was "Michael robbed the butter store". :)

Back in the day before PC's, I was in a band who wanted to do THIS SONG.
We never did figure out all the lyrics and gave up.
And until I just watched this video I thought at the end he sang 'Get It On'.

Hmmm... I always thought that All Along The Watchtower line was "dig my herb". I suspected it was a reference to pot.

Just played it to make sure - it's  "plowmen dig my earth" , for sure. I also played a version by Hendrix and he also sings "plowmen dig my earth"

It's probably like the "split up on a dark sad night" lyric in "Tangled up in Blue" so ofter heard as "split up on the docks that night" I read that Dylan often used the alternative line when playing live.

I am positive there's a line in the Starship song which does go "we built this city on cheesy rolls".

"Don't let your son go down on me" - Elton John

LMAO!!!!! Craig....lol....we used to do a skit with that years ago. Our singer used to come up to me in our cover band during the show and say "so Danny, what song you feel like doing next?" And of course I had to say the name of the song next on the set list. Well one time, the guys showed up early for practice and we put this whole thing together with that Elton John song and never said a word to him.

The next show, he comes up to me like he always does and says "so Danny, what song ya feel like doin' next?" And I say "how about that Elton John song" and he says "what Elton John song" and the drummer does a fill....babababababa splash....and we all sing in harmony "please let your so-o-on go down on me" and the drummer, who couldn't sing at all sings in in this funny voice answering "please let your son" and we had this whole skit of crazy words that went with it that I'll not repeat. LOL!

People totally lost it in the crowd. Like laughing until tears were streaming down their faces, dropping drinks on the floor...it was incredibly funny. All the while our singer is just sitting there in awe and didn't know what to say or do. At the end of it....he just looked at the crowd and says "well what do ya say to something like that....wow...you guys got me on that one!" And you know someone just had to yell out "FREEBIRD!" to which he responded "you can have all the free-bird you want in the mens bathroom." LOL! Needless to say he NEVER asked me what song I wanted to play again. LOL!!! :)
