BFD Eco kit loading issue

I purchased the BFD Eco special for $29
Everything installed properly....here's the question
I'm trying to audition just the kits (to an existing midi track in X1).....problem is, I only hear sounds when I load a preset
I really don't want to hear the presets, just the kits....but when I try to load from the kit picker, I get a bunch of exclamation points on the kit pieces

When you load a kit, aren't the pieces already picked out or do I have to load a kit piece one by one?

A little confusing, to say the least

You may be trying to load presets...some of which don't work with ECO.  Or you may be trying to load kits you don't have.  The best thing to try, since you are a new user, is to go into your settings and select "trash and rebuild database"...unless you've already saved a bunch of kits or something.  This usually gets you running hot straight and normal with all the available kits and pieces you have.  Before you do this however make sure all relevant paths are dispalyed in your settings dialog.  Assuming you just have ECO and no more Fxpansion instruments or expander packs you'll probably just have one main path.  HTH.
