The psychic thread

I already know what you are going to say.  Plus you who chose not to respond, I knew you wouldn't.  And the off topic responses - sorry - saw them coming.

Replies?

    I am a qualified psychic.

    Yes I know you knew.

I cheated in my metaphysics exams.  I got caught looking into the mind of the girl sitting next to me.

I got pardoned though, I wouldn't have taken the risk if I wasn't sure I'd get away with it.

I don't know what I'd end up like without my psychic ability.

    What's that?.......yeah, exactly.

Last night, I had deja vu and amnesia at the same time.  I'm sure I forgot last night many times before.

    Hi,

I suppose that it depends on what you think a "psychic" is ... which is a word that is too generic and does not necessarily define, or explain any one's specific talent and ability.

To my knowledge there are not a whole lot of "psychic" musicians, and I think that ... DAW's and that clock (or metronome) is the issue ... you don't have to pay attention to the music, you just count! (that's cheating!)

But there are some folks that are very good at improvisation and experimentation and there definitly is something of a "psychic" nature in it, which comes out in the music ... for a listener, it is very different and an experience that is rather difficult to express in words.

Djam Karet is the example here ...

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
