    Yes, but there may be some plug-in issues. Sonar 8 has both a 32 bit and 64 bit version. I've installed both and different plug-ins are available in each version. I think there is a workaround, maybe someone can chime in?

    So, if I were to dump my old Win XP and go with Win 7 32 bit, I'm thinking anything I have working now should work then, eh? Or am I being too naive ?

    As said, only thing is the 32 bit plug ins. There's a program called BIT BRIDGE that fixes (?) that issue. Or some people install both 32 and 64 versions. The other benefit is there seems to be more bugs in the drivers for XP. Windows 7 seems to work better all round. Just make sure there are W7 drivers for your interface.
