All things considered... not bad.

A few years ago the asking price on this amp would have made you gasp... unless you were the one selling it.

Even if you have no interest in buying an amp the photos are really nice. You may enjoy them.

Bummer for him - no bids.  Why don't you offer him a $1 Mike?  It might just be the "Best Offer" he receives!

If you want REAL sticker shock fun, you should see it when a Dumble goes up for sale!  They're in the $50k range.

I'm not in the market for an amp. :-)

There are a few things on that amp that seem to good to be true... either the owner is mistaken or it's a museum piece and it has some of the cleanest examples of some parts that I have ever seen.

The idea I get when viewing that sale is that the price is indicative of a down turn in the vintage crazed market.

At least for Dumble owners... Dumbles are actually quite rare.

    best,
    mike

I miss my old Fender Bassman. Probably the one piece of equipment I regret getting rid of the most.

The curious thing is that the capacitors and such do look 100% original.

The power cord and power transformer look like they couldn't be... but they sure could be.

Here in the humid south everything eventually rusts... even stuff you try to take care of. but I know some places don't have those issues.

Man, that amp is 6 months younger than me.

Why wouldn't it be all original?

All I'm minus is appendix and teeth the rest is all factory fitted.

Actually my original fit eyes are not nearly as sharp these days as they once were.

I might replace them with a couple of Seymours.
