MIDI drums ..split to tracks in X1 essential?

Quick question...using the SI DrumKit and a single midi track..is there a quick and dirty way to split the midi notes of each drum out to their own track? or, is there a new and better way of maybe sending the drum sample - kick, snare, etc to it's own track? I'm at the point where I'd like to process each drum individually ... I seem to remember a 'split to track' thingie in older versions.......

you're probably talking about a CAL script.  hit CTRL+F1 to bring up the cal folder.

Or you use a single midi track and multiple outputs from the drum machine sample player software going to individual tracks for processing.

Edit: I can't remember if SI Drums has multiple outputs...  but that is the way you should be doing it.

I think SI drums does 4 outputs, but I can't remember for certain, I never use it.

but Karyn's right - that's a better process than splitting the MIDI.

i thought that might be better....sending the actual sounds to individual tracks...ok, I'll give that a shot..
