imported bundle files load but don't play on new computer

I'm attempting to change computers.  The bundle files I saved on my hard drive will load, but when I hit the play arrow, I get this windows error message:

CWHS.exe has encountered a problem and must exit.

Cakewalk sample bundle file plays fine. Only bundle files I've created on my old machine show this error.  Any ideas?

    Try saving them  as cwp and then play back. You never know :o/ The fact that you can load them without error messages is a good sign ... I want to believe.

    I tried that. What's odd is that even if I open a new project and import a wave file from "My Music," when I try to play the project, I get the error message and the whole thing shuts down. I tried importing a wav file from music to a track, saving the project as a project file, and then reopening it and playing the track. No luck. It just gave me the error message and exited the program.

    Thanks for trying. I'm open for new ideas.

    You have XP on your new computer?
    Have you downloaded all the updates for HS 2004 and the latest drivers for the TASCAM?
