The first day of Fall in North Florida today.

It will be another 2 months before it sets in... but we are getting a tease today.

    That's North Florida's little secret.

    3 Months of nasty, humid, and hot summer.... and 9 months of spring.

    Some years we get a week we call winter.

    I really enjoy Florida when I visit, and I'll never visit in the summer. I went to Epcot in September once and I couldn't believe the heat and humidity. It is a wonderful place in January however. Much as Mike describes, not real hot but still sunny, green and refreshing if you just stepped out of mid-winter in Canukistan.

    It was 100 here all last week.  Until Saturday.  Sunday it about 75 and it will be all this week.  No in between at all!  I hope it warms up again before winter!!

    I don't like going to the beach.  You no sooner stretch out on a bare patch of sand than some Marine Biologist tries to push you out into the ocean. 

    The worst is when they check to make sure your blowhole is clear.  I hate that.
