Layers and bouncing to a track

Newbie back again. So now I've recorded my three layers and muted a part from each layer and want to bounce them down to another track, however, when I do this, only the selected layer with is solod will bounce and it seems I can only solo the one layer - not all three, so how can I bounce the clips from ALL my layers onto a new track please?

Oh....after some time I think I found the answer to my own question - you edit the clips and make sure none are overlapping and then you Rebuild Layers?

But how do you export this layer so that it is one continuous wav?

There's no need to do the rebuild etc. Look up "Comping a Take" or just "Comping" in the manual and/or on Cakewalk TV or their youtube channel.

Comping using the Mute tool is very quick once you've grasped the basics, then once done just bounce to track or bounce to clip, depending on whether you want to keep the original or not.

OK...will do. :-) I managed to get where I wanted by rebuild, but I appreciate that I'm going round the long way instead of using the tools effectively. Thanks very much! I'll look it up.
