Midi tack questions

Hi guys! I'm new to Sonar products and I have some questions about my Sonar LE. It is the version that came with the new Samson Studio GT pro. (8.5??) I have been learning by trial and error for about a week now and there are a couple of things i can't figure out.

  Question #1
Is there a way to take midi tracks that have been created with the session drummer (or any other midi tacks for that matter) and convert the finished tack into an audio track so that I can add effects, (compression ,  reverb, EQs  etc.) to them?

  Question #2
When  I insert one of the soft synths that came with Sonar (I have PSNYII and Drop Zone) I can hear the notes and the right sounds when im writing them into the track but when I hit playback I am not hearing anything. Session drummer seems to work fine by the way.

  Question #3
Does the video editing allow you to sink audio to video that is not SMPTE time coded?

System specs are

Dual core pentium processor 2.70Ghz, 4GB ram, 64 bit OS

Thanks in advance
Greg

    Welcome to the forum.
I'm also a Les Paul Greg, kinda.
#1. It's called bouncing. Select the MIDI track and the soft synth track while holding down the computer keyboard's Ctrl key.
Go to Edit>Bounce to Track(s), make some selections in the Bounce menu and click OK.
The synth is then rendered to an audio track.
#2. That's strange. Make sure the synth track audio is sent to a valid output and the MIDI track to the synth.
    #3. Don't know. I'll take a look.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.
