Help - Sonar X1 and Names on Midi Tracks

Hey all, Just getting around in Sonar X1, but there's one thing I don't like right away - the Bank Name on midi tracks. In Sonar 7, much more of the bank, patch, and device were displayed. For example, I would see this: Midi Channel ==> Ch 1: Roland XV-3080 Patch Bank ==> 11392-Roland SR-JV80-01 Pop... Patch ==> Pop:001 770 Grand 1 In Sonar X1, It's hardly intelligible. I did put friendly names now on the Midi channel so I can read that, but the Bank and Patch are impossible. Here's what I see in X1: Output To ==> 2-XV3080 (my friendly name) Midi Channel ==> 1XV3080Ptc Bank ==> 1139280010 Patch ==> Pp001770G Completely horrible and unintelligible and a mess. Can anyone help me to: a- Change the skin back to something useful like "Classic" b- Extend the names to be useful Thanks for your help, Marc

I don't think it is possible in X1. I recommend submitting a feature request to allow control widgets in Track View to be adjusted for length, as in previous versions.

Personal comment: the label munge-ing is one of the ways in which usability in X1 has been reduced, not increased, and contributes to my refusal to move from 8.5.
