X1 and FCB 1010

I would like to control Amplitube 3 and/or Guitar Rig with my FCB 1010 MIDI foot controller while using Amplitube as a plugin inside of Sonar X1....how?

    what have you tried so far? it should be just a case of setting it up as a midi controller, and midi-learning the switches?

    Depending on what the OP is trying to control, it may not be that simple.  Without the eprom upgrade, the 1010 just sends patch, cc and other "changes" (generally.)  If the desire is to turn "stomps" off and on, bigger changes may be needed.

    Essentially, it is the "brain" of the unit.  Google FCB 1010 and you will find links to an editor and places to buy the upgrade.

    Ok D/l the editor and I have both amplitube and guitar rig wrking with the FCB 1010 in standalone mode. Now how can I make it work as a plug in in Sonar X1?

    You will probably have to set it up as a generic controller using ACT.

    Have you visited http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/fcb1010/ ?

    Be prepared to do a lot of reading.  Everything you need can be found there.

    And if you get it figured out, could you please post back here?  I gave up trying to incorperate my factory FCB-1010 into Sonar.  Ended up just using "Learn" feature in Matrix View for triggering loops.
