there is either some setting that I am totally missing or this break out box is defective. I open an audio track, and i make sure that input is fasttrack and output is fastrack. Then i click record but it doesnt record anything, as if there is no signal at all: But if i push "direct monitor" on the fasttrack it is loud and clear. T thought that Ive rechecked all the dumb stuff (cords not plugged in etc) but there is still total silenece when i try to record guitar. windows 7 4 gig RAM / sonar producer and maudio fasttrack

    PROBLEM RESOLVED

    figured out the prob..it was because i was recording guitar in mono and i would select fastrack left...when i selected fasttrack right it worked fine.. thanks for the response though!
