FX1 Dynamic Processor Replacement

The FX1 Dynamic Processor is IRREPLACEABLE. He keeps locking up when when I move nodes around. Is there any other plugin that is similar to it? Also I am afraid that cakewalk is not going to further develop this plugin for future releases. I am still on an old sonar xl, and I need this bad boy to stay current when I upgrade some day. I use it on every audio track. If not, is there any code that I may view to recreate this plugin or convert it to vst. Seriously, this plugin is a all in one beast and I cannot find anything else like it. Not in waves or any-other popular brand series of PLGINS. If not is there any code that I can look at to make one similar to this. I ask because I can use this tool and make it sound like real gear; I can also make it sound like any other compressor out there due to its graphic node design.
