Another soft of a pole.

Would you ever consider owning a monkey?

Why are you asking, looking for a friend to have poo fights with?

There's an angle I'd not thought of.

I guess if I had enough monkeys in a room, eventually they would have thought of it.

I have complete confidence that your parental instincts would ensure that they were the best poo chuckers ever.

I lost a monkey in a bet once.

Had to work overtime to pay it.

Having a household with 3 active cats, a rottweiler that seems to be used as a couch by these three cats, a cockatiel, ....meh...no monkey going to survive this lot...

I was purchased by monkeys once.  It was horrible.  I thought the cage was a bit confining, but the experiments were really terrible.  Dr. Crinis Basilicus always seemed to think he was so superior, strutting around in his lab coat with his tail held high.  Man, I got tired of the electric shocks everytime I reached for a slice of becan.  Eventually, I got to where I could hold my own in a fling-fest.  Even then, I never earned their respect.  I couldn't keep up when we would climb trees.  Even though I did it for them, no one wanted to pick ticks off of my hide.

Oh.  Wait a minute.  I may have been thinking of Jr. High School.  I get those confused from time to time.  Nevermind.

    Nope... never have, never would.

A friend of mine got one cause he thought it would be a cool, unique pet. Wrong. He lived directly across the street from me at the time in NJ... circa 1970  IIRC someone "gave " it to him, and he was fool enough to say "Sure, I'll take it"

It's name was "Nixon" (this was back in the heady days of Watergate) and it was a freaking mess.

Throwing poo was a favorite pass time for it and no one wanted to go near the cage to clean it up. It was also "affected" greatly by the ladies at a certain time every month, and Paul's mom & sister insisted that the monkey had to go after seeing what it was doing when they came in the room.....

Nixon was gone pretty quickly after that.

No , not the best pets in the world.
