I am pretty proud of these at this point.  It's been a bit of a struggle that if you are inclined to read up on...

I wrote and sing lead on "At the Seams" it is a song for my brother who died at 27 of an overdose. (Darker Rock)
I wrote the basic music and structure for & play guitar & Back Vox on "Switcblade Punk" (rock/punk)
and "wake" was a group effort by the whole band in which I am also on guitar & back Vox. (groove rock)

I would love to hear your thoughts on the songs & recording guys!  Thanks a million for all your help so far!

    Hey, Chuck,

How's it going?  Hope all is well with you, and very sorry to hear about your brother.

"At the Seams" is a very cool sounding modern rock track, and you did a dynamite job on the songwriting and especially on the vocals!  You've also got a nice, fresh sounding modern mix.  My only minor suggestion, which of course, is totally subject to personal preference, is that I might raise the vocals up a dB or two, just to make it easier to understand the lyrics.  Once again, lead vocal level is always very subjective, and can vary somewhat, even from song to song on some albums.

Anyway, fantastic job, Chuck, I'm sure that your brother is smiling somewhere, when this song is being played.   Have a good one, buddy!

    Thanks Bob!
Yeah I love this song, it's probably the best composition I have ever put together and obviously, it is an important one to me.
I fought a bit deciding on the vocal level, I didn't want to over compress that vocal track as it's pretty dynamic. If I bring it up it does start to stand out infront more than I wanted it to.

PS.  (Compared to the feedback on mixes I did even six months ago)
I can't tell you how cool it is to wake up and see that this was your only curtique!!  Especially because I really like the sound of your work so I value the feedback.   Thanks again.

"At The Seams" - Awesome sounding rock track.  Great emotive singing kind of like Creed.  Sorry about your brother.  I like this track the best.

"Switcblade Punk" - As a punk song you need a bit more attitude when you are singing it.  Your style of singing has a bit of a layback feel.  Otherwise everything sounds great!  Nice production and mix.

"wake" - Love the melody on this song.  The chorus has a very nice hook.  Great production and mix also.

Thank you for listening and the comments.  Another guy in the band sings the latter 2 of them & I agree with your comments on switchblade...   It needed a bit more balls to the delivery of it.

I am loving that the mix and production are sounding good to you guys!  It means all the timeI'e spent reading and then sitting at that computer has not been wasted!

As for at the seams...  the consensus from our fans has been the same as yours, and since I only sing lead on three songs with the band and at this point the one thats standing out is one of them, my "singer" (who plays drums on this track) is a little bent out of shape about it...  oh well!
