HELP! Where are the new EQ and Compressor plugs in X1??

I am making a gradual transition from Sonar 8 to Sonar X1.

I am trying to insert the new EQ and compression plug-ins into audio tracks . . . where the heck are they??

Thanks in advance.

When you're in console view, near the top of every channel, there is a little blue triangle that says "prochannel" click it and p.c will open, click it again, it will close.

Just press "i" on keyboard-can't miss. It's where the inspector always has been

    Phil,

it doesn't need to be inserted - it is "on" the channel already.  As others have pointed out, it is part of the inspector.  You'll need to enable each part on a new project.  If you open an old project in X1 Pro it will "override" the sonitus eq, so be careful.

Also, you have to float the prochannel to see all of it - there is no scroll bar to go up and down.  Also, you need 860+ pixels to see it all, so you'll need a big montior.

    hope this helps.

so to summarize,    the prochannel is already inserted into every tack and bus.   when you begin to change its settings, it will turn on.   you can view it in the track inspector by pressing the tab at the top labeled prochannel, or u can view it in the console view.      on my desktop computer i can see the whole thing, but on my laptop i have to float it to see it all.

Pro Channel is only included in the Producer version of X1. Which version are you running? It's intrusively obvious that it's there if you are running X1-P.

Thanks - I am running XP producer.

I thought that maybe it was because I am still on WinXP 32 bit - but apparently that is not an issue(?)

I am away from the studio right now, but will check this out as soon as I return - thanks again!
