Hi Jose,
I'm glad you're enjoying the muz3um set
you could use these programs as starting points:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3980034/shine_lead.prog http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3980034/shine_strings.prog the minimoog lead is quite brassy, so the key part in my opinion is the filter envelope shape, mainly its attack
tweak the filter cutoff and EG time/levels to taste, I'm just going by memory rigth now so I don't remember exactly how "dark" is the tone
I added some controls (modwheel and aftertouch) for additional expression
the arp string sample is very noisy as I made a mistake in the looping process
in any case when holding the G minor key (note Element1 and 2 are set to different octaves) the buzz noise becomes less disturbing
I didn't use filters here, you could add LP1 to Element1 and a HP1 to Element2 (tweak both cutoff values to taste) to clean the sounds a bit
check also the phaser in GlobalFX2: it adds a subtle movement but you could tweak both LFO and feedback in order to make the effect more dramatic
hope this helps
regards
Francesco
