Plug in problem
Hi all I installed the Slate digital VCC Today and decided at the same time to reinstall my pod farm The VCC only shows up in my plugin list on the fx bin on the master bus and also any other buses but that's what I thought as that's what its meant for. My pod farm for some reason is only showing up on the Buses as well and will not show on a normal track. I had it installed once before with no problems so I have no idea why this is doing this now Thanks for any help Norrie

that's really odd. I've never seen or read about anyone having a problem where a plugin would show up on a bus but not on a track (unless you're inadverntently trying to insert it into a MIDI track and not and AUDIO track)

Do you have dual monitors? Do the plugins show up in the browser? Some of my plugins don't show up on my 2nd monitor, Weird I Know.

look in your plugin manager and see if you can find some kind of problem there.

I'm assuming you see it as being available in the menu in the plug-in manager but it's not there when you try it on a track. You can delete/remove it from the menu in the plug-in manager and then add it again manually to the same place and save it and it will show up. It's not a solution as to why but it should be available from then on.

I've had two Cake plug-ins disappear in 8.5 and I tried what I suggested and it did work. A bit later on, going from memory, the originals came back. It's a strange world. If you're in no hurry then hang on a bit and see if anyone else suggests anything.

I'm with Beagle. I've not seen that. As I said though, I have seen the menu go odd.

I think I will send a message over to Line 6 and Cake and see what they think it might be :)
