New Roland RMIX S/W will we see it intergrated into Sonar?

new Roland product R-MIX Audio Processing Software Innovative Mix-Manipulation Software for Mac/PC and iPad features Welcome to an exciting new era of “visual” audio manipulation. R-MIX software — powered by Roland’s newly developed V-Remastering technology in conjunction with VariPhrase — lets you see the components of a stereo mix as color-coded clouds of energy and harmonic matter as the song plays! Select your desired components of the mix, and freely edit them — an impossible task in the past. You can change panning positions and levels to individual instruments within a stereo mix, for example, and add effects to each element as desired. You can even independently adjust the pitch and speed of the playback, realized with VariPhrase.

It does look like a very powerful spectral editor. The video demo starts to showcase this about half way in. Would have been an awesome addition to Sonar. Interesting product.

i kept looking for it to say something about vst.  if roland wants to grow cakewalk and sonar as a serious contender, they need to add innovative functions like this to sonar to set it apart from the competition.             this expanded update theyre now selling should include this roland software or at least make it an option.     i think sonar is as good as any other daw, i just want it to be better than the rest.

It looks like this might be a standalone app.  But hard to tell for sure...
