That is some good deals - strilinglyhandsome deals.

Styrus is a great FM synth - tho Toxic is good (and simpler too!).  Poisyn is a good VA if you don't have one, and morophine a good additive if you don't have one.  For $150 you can have all your "other" (non sampler) synths taken care of.  Nice.

Damn!  I have way more synths than I have time for already but some of these are going to be hard to say no to.  One of them (forgot which) claims 500 factory presets, some of which sound really good in the demos.  That's 10 cents a preset.

Please tell me they require a dongle so I can walk away from this with no regrets!

Well dmbaer, that's one pathetic attempt at trying to resist. Just get your wallet open. Actually I'm not buying any more sounds and I've not done too bad of late but there's one thing in the line I've always fancied for a long, long time and I shall get that.

There are a bunch of voices for sytrus, I know.  The other three are max claster synths, newer and hense don't have as much of a library.  I think toxic has the most, but it is another fm synth.  I like it, but sytrus (true six voice fm) is a steal.  If you like fm.

The two that are pulling at my wallet are Maximus and Vocodex.  I like the way Maximus is somewhere between a mastering and track multiband with a few extra features; people at KVR are saying Vocodex is one of the best vocoders ever.  Vocoders can be used for more than robot voices.

Someone did mention a problem with Sonar and Vocodex.  Anyone else here have problems with Vocodex?

most authors of novels regarded as classics are dead, classic novels are, therefore, most likely to be written by dead people.

    Hi Peeps,

I decided to take the plunge on a vocoder, since I took the decision to drop Pentagon from my list of VST instruments.

After some research, and wasting £50 on a product I will not mention here, I discovered Vocodex, by Image Line.

While I was there, and adding Vocodex to my cart, I noticed that Image Line have another deal on. I was going to create a new post, but spotted this one, and felt it would be as easy to resurrect this as start a new one.

I also purchased Drumaxx too, which is a physical modelling based drum synth.

Both are great additions to my arsenal, although it took me a while to suss out how to get Vocodex working in X2 LOL
