Drag-moving entire project...ERASES BUS AUTOMATIONS? What??

Drag-moving entire project...ERASES BUS AUTOMATIONS? What??

Wow. So I just want to create a little bit of room in the beginning of my project so that theres about a 1 second delay from when the listener hits play and playback actually begins. So I just select-all to select every track, drag to the right a slight bit, and let go. But after doing that, all my bus automation is GONE! They are erased! Am I doing something wrong? Am I just not going to be able to create some room in the beginning of my project?

Note: using Nudge has the same problem.
