IIRC all softsynths don't like 96 kHz. I don't remember exactly what I've read on the subject, though. Propably someone wiser chimes in.
Like always, I can't help asking why do you want to use 96 kHz. Most of us here think it's a waste disc space, and some say they can hear a difference in some situations.
There's (almost) a consensus here that unless you use 800 $ microphones, 2000$/a piece monitor speakers and have a acoustically treated studio and record classical music there's nothing to gain in 96 kHz. But of course, if you like it, you do it.
