why monitor button turns itself off when recording?

the monitor button to monitor in headphones turns on me off
when I press record, is it normal?

    Is this "monitor button" on your sound card? is there any midi connections going to the outboard gear? It could be that that, by accident some kind of midi data is telling your "monitor button on your sound card to disable when ever you press record. Look in your event list to see whats going on

    The 'Input Echo' button.

    I'm having isssues with this and other buttons since updating to X1c. For me there is a delay of 3 - 6 whenever I press buttons such as Input Echo, Arm Track, Metronome on / off for playback and recording.

    Every thing was fine before the update, buttons / commands would instantly response but now, no matter if it's an old project or empty template everything is sluggish. Like Sonar is gonna hang but after a few seconds the button enables / disables.
