freakin' good (afaik)

I came to sonar because i was tired of cubase sx 3 workflow and sonar 6, on the paper, was full of promises. Spent hours in learning and finaly found it buggy in a different way than cubase, but not better. Cakewalk leaved it as it is when they launched sonar 7 and i was a little bit disappointed (especially when i think about the time they spent on things like beatscape. Grrr.) Updated to 8.5 during the X1 grace period, mainly, i have to say, for dimension pro... Cakewalk kindly gave me a free update to X1 and i have to say thank you for that. Gave it a quick try but a little bit late, i was back to cubase (5, then 6). After the x1c release, i decided to give it a new try and i have to say it's really a charming surprise. X1c runs smoothly on my xpsp3 and i use it more and more every day. Instantly found my worklow. No crashes and it handle the vstis better than ever (was awful with sonar 6 on my computer). I Hope cakewalk will continue in their new business plan, with minor updates (not free ones, but who lives from love & water ?), and give X1 a long life with X1d, X1e, etc. And as i'm here, i'll make a request to the team : i don't think  there is shortcuts in the midi editor to shorten or make the notes longer, change the start or the end of the notes... This is a big time saver feature i'll be pleased to find in sonar.
Happy Sonar X1c, cubase 6, samplitude 10 user here, more confident than ever in cakewalk's potential.
Long life.

p.s : Just reed the yorolpal "Sunday Report" thread... according to what i'm reading in the forum, it seems sonar X1 is running better on xp than on w7... A strange behavior i already noticed with cubase 6 (that do not support xp anymore but runs ****ing well on my sp3...)
p.s (a, in the new cakewalk terminology) : the only grief i have at that time is with the [buggy as hell] matrix view who needs a serious update (imo) and with the waves lighting gui...
