same crap as usual
You companies never cease to amaze me man! Why the hell can't cakewalk do such a simple thing as put up the price of this new suite version thing, do you know how maddening it is to know that you willfully left out such a basic bit of info, if its not one thing its another with these guys. They give you the price of all the expanded version bits etc but no price on the suite version. Also why the hell isn't the full version of rapture included these days, not to mention that every other company has built and included their own supreme quality guitar and bass amp emulation and cakewalk gives us what, a third party freebie, actually the worst one out there despite all the bullsh_t that would state otherwise, an LE version of NI's sub par RIG. Sheeesh, and if cakewalk had taken a close listen to Z3TA+ II before they released it, they would have realized that they have taken a step backwards, the filters sound a bit more metallicy and translucent and so deceptively better until you A/B it with the truly good softsynths and then the smoke and mirrors of zeta go phffff, it lacks that solid body and elusive "REAL" grit that are the hallmarks of a truly exceptional softsynth, i preferred the quirky gutsy i don't give a fu_k if i'm not the best i'll still punch you in the head attitude of Z3TA+ I. My last two posts were so scathing, opps i mean damaging, because of my criticism, that cakewalk deleted them, much like the shadow government of america who has killed multiple activists who are a threat to them by exposing the truth and killing kennedy for standing up to them. i'm sick of the bullsh_t cakewalk. Everyone take a look at (Magix) Samplitude pro X, and see what their offering, and all bug free with built in one button Red Book CD burning and truly world class tools. what friggin good on this planet is adding a gate/expander to the pro channel Cakewalk??? what has such a stupid 99% irrelevant tool got to do with most of us. Replace dimension and the groove synths with something worthwhile and upgrade the sh_t algorithms in V-vocal that will be a step in the right direction, then simplify the Sonar user interface for gods sake!! then we might have something...get it? All cakewalk needs is for 500,000 users to spend the extra $50 on Z3TA+ II and the extra $50 on the upgrade to this new expanded thingy and they have $50,000,000 in their pockets, and yet they can't give us a world class guitar amp??? IK multimedia's Amplitude is the only thing that can match the other companies included emulations, so get the hint cakewalk!!!

How did you A/B same settings for your project (zeta - Zeta+II)?

Interesting stuff mmmbop! One interesting thing about Samplitude is that is based on 20 year old code and is actually more buggy than Sonar. It is also very expensive and if you want the proper mastering version- sequioa- it costs about 6 times as much as Sonar.

Z3ta+2 ? Metallic? I think it's what you prefer a product to be based on your expectations of 'improved'. I heard it a number of time and just had to get the upgrade because it cuts through. I mean, the resonance peaks can really make things sound like the razor's edge. Then again on perception, the tightening up on bass transients and maybe increased harmonic content could sound like the loss of bass muddiness or boominess. Anyway I like how the way Z3ta+2 contrasts with the other soft-synths, using a full sampling soft synth for a custom sound.
Sonar 8 Producer; Sonar X1c; Intel E7500, 2 GB RAM, GT520 1GB Graphics Dual monitors, 7500rpm system disk + RAID 0 Audio n Content Disk. Camel Audio Alchemy 1.2, Z3ta+2. Rewired together with Reason 5 and Live 8. All floating in WinXPx64. Too bad Steinberg's Dongle died, I'm not using them ever again.

Yup - same crap. As in this post is another example of one that has little, if anything, in the way of intelligible criticisms and instead is chock full of: 1) Erroneous (to put it nicely) "information" (i.e. Z1 and Z2 don't sound the same and the filters are different) which is unequivocally and demonstrably false. 2) Absurdist comparisons to shadowy government conspiracies involving assassination 3) Multiple TOS violations.
