Sonar 32 and 64. How do you tell which is running.
I know, I know, the one I clicked on... Sometimes I forget if I opened the 32 bit or the 64 bit version. Is there a way to tell which is running?

sorry - I thought it did. I can poke around tonight when I get home and see if I can find something.

Color customizations should be separate, aren't they? If so, you could change some easily-visible color setting in one version or the other and thus easily tell them apart.

I usually differentiate versions by which plugins are (or not) available when I have a project open, or Rewire being ghosted out, stuff like that. That's if I forget which version I launched, which does happen of course. TBH I'd never noticed that before because the Audio Device driver names differed between 32 bit and 64 bit with my old Emu card which made it easy to spot.

yep - you're right. it doesn't say it there. I wish it did - seems like an insignificant piece of code to have been left out.

Task Manager will tell you. It will say: SONARPDR.EXE *32 for 32bit or SONARPDR.EXE for 64bit What I did is I changed the name of my Sonar shortcuts to X1 32BIT and X1 64BIT. Then I right click on the icon in the taskbar to see what the name of the shortcut is once I start Sonar. This works in Windows 7, I don't remember if you can do that in Windows XP ... you didn't say which version of Sonar or Windows you are running ... Alternately, you can use a custom background image and put 64 Bit or 32 Bit on it so you can see if you minimize your project within the main Sonar window. UPDATE: Tried it, it didn't work. They both use the same image somehow?
