How do I make an Audio FX work on just one part of my record

Hello,

My problem is that I want to insert an audio FX from cakewalk into my record, but just on one part.
This part I cut out of the rest.

In the top line, in the middle, there is the part I want to do an effect on.

How can I do this?

Thank you very much in advance!

Didn't check your link, but you can insert FX in individual clips.
    The manual is your friend.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I already thougt that I can copy this clip to another record en just insert the FX on that record...
