HP LAPTOP 6536b will it work with Sonar X1 Producer?

Sorry if this is not the proper place to post this question , but would this laptop I received as a gift work with Sonar X1 Producer?     My Gateway AMD Turion 64 X2 really bogged down trying to run Sonar 8.5.
    I could at best do 2 tracks, max! So X1 is not an option. Becuase of that,
    I purchased an Acer i5 for less than $570, X1 rocks on it!
    I`m amazed in the processing power of the i5 series.
    I use an external USB 2.0 audio card, so don`t expect the on board sound
    chipset to be worthy. I`m using the M-audio Fast track Ultra, 4 Gig of memory,
    Win 7 64bit.
