64-bit versions X1 and 8 - where to download?

I have a new Windows 7 64-bit i7 laptop which I want to move everything onto.

The hard drive in my old WinXP 32-bit PC only has the downloads for 32-bit 8.5.3 and X1.

When I go to my account, only the 32-bit versions are available to download.

Where can I get the 64-bit versions?

And only 8.5 can still be downloaded. Wasn't it necessary to have 8.3 installed first when upgrading to 8.5? So do I need 8.3 64-bit, too?

Also: I still use 32-bit plugins (Kjaerhus, for example). I understand they can still be used over some sort of bridge system. But will they slow everything down?

The 32-bit and 64-bit versions are both contained in the one installer. It will prompt for which version you want. The X1 download is a full install, and does not need a previous version present.

EDIT: 32-bit VST FX and instruments will automatically be bridged with the included Bitbridge. You should not see any performance impact, and in fact 32-bit plugs have access to more RAM under Win x64. But Bitbridge does have an issue with some plugs that an empty buffer of audio will be added to the rendered audio, causing it to play late by the size of your buffer (or bounce buffer if you have a larger one set in AUD.INI). The 3rd-Party Jbridge does not have this issue, and is easily integrated into SONAR. It's cheap, and eliminates some other issues that Bitbridge has with program focus.

    Thanks!

I have been downloading the drivers for my interfaces and they all have separate 32 and 64 bit files. Which made me think Sonar works like that, too.
