How can I tell if Sonar is using an ASIO driver?

I've just bought a TC Konnekt 6 which ships with WDM and ASIO drivers. I've disabled my original Soundblaster Audigy in device manager and now Sonar just shows the Konnekt (good).

But when I go to the Driver Settings tab of the preferences dialogue I no longer see the Driver Mode drop-down list. It used to be set to WDM/KS and I wanted to set it to ASIO but now the listbox has just disappeared.

Additionally, the Wave Profiler button is shown, which I thought disappeared or was greyed out for ASIO as it doesn't apply. Does this mean Sonar is using WDM and not ASIO?

I tried Studio One and there the Konnekt shows up as ASIO. Also I opened up CEntrance's ASIO latency test utility and it lists an ASIO driver for the Konnekt. So I know an ASIO driver is installed.

By the way I am using X1c on XP+SP3.

Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

untick anything that isn't the TC.. apply.. then select asio.. apply..

maybe it's a case of you can only access a cards own asio panel IF it's in that mode in preferences ? maybe someone can confirm that , I can't at the mo.

it normally states the roundtrip etc latency.

It's under Playback and Recording in Audio Preferences now.

    Found it. Thank you :)

Switched it to ASIO but X1 then crashed. Then found that the Creative ASIO driver was still started during boot, so X1 was probably trying to communicate with the Konnekt using the Creative driver, hence the crash. Once I'd deregistered and removed that and rebooted, everything worked perfectly.

    Thanks again
