How much Does X1 Producer Cost?

This sounds like a dumb question I realized, but this morning I just bought a Guitar effects pedal/interface from Amazon.com because I wanted to get started with SONAR. Included with the pedal I get SONAR 8.5 limited edition. Do I have to pay the upgraded Price to get X1 or do I have to pay the full retail price?

    Tim, even I, a Cakewalk user for a decade, who now has the Studio editions of both the Real Sonar (8.5) and X1, would have to pay another $350* if I went mad and for some reason wanted to upgrade. So.

    *EDIT:  Correction - The upgrade price to X1 Producer for Sonar Studio users is $199.

    oh ok, well musiciansfriend.com was having a rebate, it said buy any cakewalk product through them and upgrade to x1 for 150 dollars, 50 dollars for x1 essientals. Must of just been for that specific sale

    I live in the UK but found a better price by phoning Cakewalk sales to get a very good price as a upgrade or even a cross grade, just gather all the info you can first and then talk to them.

    According to the Cakewalk store, an upgrade to X1 from a SONAR LE edition is $299 for the download version.  However, for that deal I think you will have to buy X1 from the Cakewalk store. You have to figure out what's your best deal, and go for it.
