New Version of SONAR Plus Now Available - Updated for X1c
[ To clarify, this is an update for SONAR Plus which is an unofficial SONAR mod. It is NOT an official SONAR update. See www.sonarplus.co.uk for more details. ] Panu has shamed me into finishing my SONAR Plus X1c update!  Seriously, if Panu can 'mod my mod' in about 15 minutes to make it work with X1c, there's really no excuse for me to delay my SONAR Plus X1c update any longer, no matter how busy I am! So here it is - version 1.0.2.0. It should be fully compatible with X1c, and fixes a couple of bugs, including loading SONAR on startup, and the note duration buttons in the Staff view. You can download it here: www.sonarplus.co.uk 32 and 64 bit versions are available. If you have any problems, please let me know about them over at the SONAR Plus forum ( http://forum.sonarplus.co.uk/). Thanks for giving me a kick up the *rse Panu, and thanks everyone for bearing with me during a particularly busy time

[ I just re-read your post and I think you may have misunderstood - this isn't an update for SONAR X1c, it's an update to my utility SONAR Plus, to make it fully compatible with SONAR X1c. See www.sonarplus.co.uk for more information. ] Two major problems were happening with the old version of Plus when used with X1c: 1. It wouldn't open SONAR 2. The note duration buttons were missing in the Staff view There was also an annoying nag screen that told you Plus was designed to work with X1b, not X1c. All fixed and tidied up now. If you're using the current version of Plus without any issues, then there's no need to update it. Thanks, Ben

Oh! I thought Sonar Plus was something similar to Sonar Extended, which is why I was surprised there are already updates.

Here's a reply to Keni re his problem about not seeing the Staff view note duration icons:
Hi Keni,
That's odd. I just uninstalled Plus, downloaded and installed it again, and the Staff view icons are there.
Can I suggest you uninstall Plus and then reinstall it? If that doesn't work, please right click the toolbar and select 'About'. It will tell you which version you're using. It should be 1.0.2.0.
Is it possible that Panu's recent mod has left an old file in the c:\Program Files\benstat\SONAR Plus folder too?
I also assume you're using X1c!!?!?

Hi Ben... I did the same.. I uninstalled the previous (1.0.1) and then installed 1.0.2 which I just downloaded this morning... The about box reports 1.0.2 correctly, but when I open the Staff View, I don't see any note length values. I guessing that they should appear as they do in the PRV? Yes, I'm using X1c... and I am running one of Panu's Mods (Black Label) if that matters? I've got some things to do this morning but I will uninstall the mod and check/report again later... What files should there be in the SonarPlus folder? Thanks... Keni
