"Freakin' Out", new club track with some Factory Yoyo magic!

Hello All,

A far cry from my previous folk/country track "Back Home Again",  this new track was made for the club scene, "Freakin' Out".

The song started with a Z3TA synth before the words im freakin out came to mind, the remainder of the song built itself from there. After finishing my mix, it was obvious that it lacked energy and punch, something that is mandatory for any club track.

I then enlisted Mr.Yeomans to see what recipe he could pull out of the factory Yoyo cook book. After some riff fiddling, adding some bells and whistles and then giving it a much needed kick in the ass, the following track resulted......Turn it up!

Freakin' Out

Cian

sounds totally pro Cian. very very different for you, but your singing certainly works in this context. great production, the fx on the vocals work really well, without being an Autotune clone...drums are spot on. basically, this is radio ready and freakin' awesome!

    Thanks all.

The track is short and sweet and full of goodies. Jim done a fantastic job on this, and its clear the autotune was used purely for effect.

The slot machine noise still makes me smile!

Man I have to be honest.  When you offered to do vocals I expected you to have a pretty good voice but your is REALLY good!  This is a real longshot but have you ever heard of the musician Will Lamb?  He lives in Ireland as well.

Your production is amazing as well!  Seriously amazing work!  Wow!

Yep awesome production!  Definitely not my preferred genre, but I try to give credit where it's due, regardless.  Sounds like something you'd hear the clubs and like "mgh" said, "radio ready".

    Thanks a lot guys,

ATS I have not heard of will lamb and he didnt even seem to come up in a search?!

And the production credit does have to go to "james yoyo", although my original track sent to him had the bones of the arrangment and melody, it was far from that "radio" sound.

Awesome!  The production is top notch and you did all that with a broken hand.

Vicente, glad you liked it, no question the production is top rung. no this was done about a month ago when I had two useful limbs, broke my hand last week so currently sitting idle a little. ...Guess ill have to just write some lyrics....yuck!

    Awesome beatz, C!

I detect Factory Yoyo impaction for that necessary skate/dance experience.  I can certainly skate wildly with this beast as all the elements are geared and powerful.

To me, I consider you exceedingly blessed to have his magic in your last 2 songs that I've heard.  (Also, it was great to see your portrayed vox technique in the picture!)

Thanks for sharing this excellent explosive romp.

Nohow, Herb, thanking you, defo the pro-est sounding track ive done to date, thanks to James.

Philip, thank you sir too. You know your have such artistic language that I usually have to read your post a few times before I can take in the message, you paint quite a picture with your words! Vox technique?! Just shout into that darn microphone, as you can see I aint singing in any "treated" studio that's for sure, my sisters bedroom more like :-).
