Been there, done that. Those are pretty hard to kill. Almost as if they were meant to be trashed.
Mine's been thrown around on the stage, walked upon, dropped on concrete, had rain and wine and beer spilled over the electronics countless time. 15 years later, it finally starts to show some signs of aging - due for a clean up as the volume knob is finally getting noisy and it's also starting to show very light intonation problems.
Would not try that w/ a Les Paul.
EDIT - BTW, I do not advocate such things as smashing guitars. For me as a young lad, being put in front of the stage in the spotlight was just too much to handle, so I guess I resorted to such gimmicks to "put on a show" (even though it
felt right at that time).
