converting midi to audio using sonic cell

i have just registered into this forum i hope to save much headaches.
i wrote a song with a midi track in it
the midi instrument i used i got from using the sonic cell sound module.
the midi controller i use is the edinrol pcr 500.
to convert a midi track to a audio track i know you first create a audio track
then you match the input of the audio track with the soundcard you used to
do the midi track.
unless i am wrong i believe my sound card is the sonic cell,
i am using windows 7.
i am using sonar 8.5 le.
the soundcard of my computer is realtek which i believe is not to be used
in this matter but i could be wrong.
no matter what i try i cannot convert this midi track to an audio track.
can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong.
thanks, mirico

I'm not personally familiar with the Sonic Cell, I may be able to help with some general questions. If the synth you're using resides in the Sonic Cell, then you'll have to direct the MIDI tracks output toward the MIDI input of the Sonic Cell and then the Sonic Cell's audio output to the Audio track. Otherwise, you could insert a Soft Synth audio track and direct the MIDI's output to the Synth track.

I think you need to open the Sonic Cell's In/Out Routing screen.

    through to my computer.
