Can this be for real? Producer 8.5 for under $10

I was looking at getting a mate started with an unused copy of LE that came with an Edirol PCR800 when I came across this:

I've mailed tech support in OZ asking them directly but I may be waiting for some time I think.
Could these possibly be previously unregistered licencesthat will be legit and allow upgrades etc?

    This is a digital download, not a boxed edition. I'm guessing he's run off multiple copies and is selling those. I would also guess that he's selling cracked registration codes. But I'm cynical that way. Contact him and ask about that.

    I did contact the seller and I'm waiting for a reply.
     
    OZ Roland got straight back to me - their reply was basically that this software is not genuine and thank you for bringing it to their attention.
     
    We'll see what the seller says.

    I don't think you have to contact anyone to see if it's legit. No offence but the only thing missing is a flashing neon sign saying 'Get Your Cracked and Illegal Software Here'.

    It may be cracked our he is selling his legitimate serial number.  However, when you go to register it w/in 30 days it won't.

    Vendor hasn't replied
    I was 99% sure it was crooked - but you never know. I thought maybe, maybe, he's stuck with a bunch of licences and S/w somehow.
    It was worth an email.
    Be interesting to see if it stays up. There's a few on that site.
