Question about Plug-In Manager, or better still moving plugins

I scan 32bit plugs so as to include in 64bit SONAR.

I find that if I install all 32bit and 64bit versions of plugins (in separate directories), while in 64bit SONAR many plugs show twice (sometimes with the same name, sometimes not) in vstplugins. I understand this is due to both version having the same name.
Would I use the plug-in to better organize the display of 32bit vs 64bit plugs of the same name? Or, can I just manually move the (common named) 32bit plugs to a more unique folder name?

IOW, what's the best way to clean the displayed lists up?

BTW, I've never done anything in Plug-In Manager besides disabling SONAR's True Pianos as I have the full version.

The easy way is to select 32-bit plug-ins, and click the Exclude Plug-in button. This basically just hides them. You can usually tell the difference between x86 and x64 version by looking at the path and/or DLL name shown in the Filename field at the bottom of the Manager for the currently selected plug-in.

There are members who are far more diligent and knowledgable than I about managing their plug-ins, but this should get you started.

    SONAR Platinum x64, 2x MOTU 2408/PCIe-424  (24-bit, 48kHz)

well this has been a bane for me, also. I have my 32 bit and 64 bit plus in different folders, and did like Bap to scan them both, and sometimes there is only one name when they both share the same name shown and it inevitably is the 32 bit plug that shows up(via the path) and the 64 bit plug doesn't. I have been trying to get the supposedly 64 bit version of MOTU SI to show up in 64 bit Sonar.Whenever I try to scan while in 64 bit it crashes the plug in scan. But I can open 32 bit Sonar and scan and register the MOTU plug in successfully , and I include it in a profile called 32 bit. However, when I open up 64 bit Sonar and open the 32 bit profile in plug in manager, the MOTU plug is gone ...If I rescan the MOTU plug crashes the scan .. I also have installed Jbridge and just found out I didnt need to scan my 32 bit plugs with JBridge, Sonar will employ it automatically if I select it in the plug in properties box..
