Guitar Rig reinstall?

This is a little embarrassing but I can't see any of the pre-sets I had prior to a win 7/ X1 reinstall. In fact I don't see any presets when I go to the (Guitar Rig 4) browser ...to the right I only see tape deck and metronome. 
I remember a preset called Black Angus and another called Randy Rhodes (I think)? 
Whenever I click on the vst button and select load preset it seems to be looking for a .fxp file but I can't find any .fxp files on any of my hard drives except for z3ta. Can someone tell me what I did wrong please?

EDIT: I can find a .ksd file (whatever that is) named Black Angus Lead and Crazy Randy which are in a folder I saved prior to doing the reinstall/reformat but Guitar Rig 4 doesn't seem to be able to see them.
Something else that may be worth mentioning just in case: I chose to not install Quick Time when I installed Guitar Rig 4 since I already have it installed.

    You need to use the NI Service Center and download the GR 4 update and install it, otherwise GR4 won't display any presets.

    If I could just ask another thing that has me baffled:
    For some reason I'm not getting the controllers that I used before.
    IOW I opened up an older version of the same project, same track, using Real Les Paul Custom (Music Lab guitar) and the pitch bend and wah effect, CC: 1, ChanAft (which I'm guessing is aftertouch) are all there and sounds just like it supposed to. 
    In the newer project I see all of the controllers are exactly the same comparing the 2 side by side in PRV but the newer version isn't working.
    The only (major) difference in the 2 projects that I can think of are added vocals (don't see how that could be relevant) and it is transposed up a half step. I should also mention that the guitar part was fine prior to the reinstallation (win 7, x1, Real LPC, guitar rig etc).
    Your thoughts would be most appreciated,

    Using CW Transpose I lowered the guitar part back down a half step in the newer project but it made no difference.
