saving a project

Hey guys. I have a project/song that I want to save with a different name. Let me explain. The song is ready for mix down, what I want to do is make a copy of it that I will delete certain instruments and vocals from and burn it to a wave for backing tracks. I know that I could go in and mute what I don't want to burn, but I'd rather save/copy it, and delete what I don't want on the backing tracks. How do I accomplish this? Sonar 8.5 producer. Thanks all.
