Upgraded my Computer what now

I've been waiting for my son to toss out his next computer so I can upgrade. So I now have an Intel Pentium R dual core @ 2.5 with 4 Gigs of Ram and 2 x Terra drives running on Windows 7 64 bit. It also came with a Card Deluxe PCI 2x2 with SPDIF audio card. And an  M Audio Axiom 25 USB controller.
So I have installed Sonar P7 64 bit. It all went smoothly and Sonar recognizes the sound card ( ASIO ) and the controller. I have set it to 24/48. For now I have kept default buffers ( 256 etc. )
So now what can I expect? I realize all my plug ins will now be 64 bit. So when I load an old project will I have to delete the plug ins an re assign the 64 bit ones?? or should I install a second 32 bit version of Sonar ,, is this allowed ??  It does say only one copy is permitted.
I have mostly used TTs-1 and the Lexicon Reverb. I have also used a few 3rd party free wares like Mr Tramp and Golden Tines I'm not a power VST user.

    yes, I would install the 32 bit version as well for previous projects and don't start the new projects in 32 bit but don't try to open the 32 bit projects in 64bit.  (yes, it's allowed)

    you should be able, actually, to oopen 32bit files in the 64bit sonar and it will use the 32bit FX using bitbridge.  but there are a few 32bit plugins that don't work with bitbridge.

    so you can try that if you want, but I just left all of my 32 bit projects as 32bit and started new projects with 64bit.

    Thanks I'll probably do the same then.
     I'll go ahead and install a second Sonar 32 bit.
     I have way to many half baked projects right now so it will be incentive to get them done.
     I'm looking forward to smoother sailing. I'm also interested to see how the Tascam us1641 performs under W7. I will eventually purchase a new w7 laptop for mobile so I'm hoping it will behave it's self.

    Have never heard of this Card Deluxe PCI card either.

     It came from a radio station PC apparently. He got it off Ebay and never had any issues under Tractor and Ableton. I will only be using the SPDIF anyhow. Say goodbye to XP  :}
